RIP Rip Curl: Ripcurl boycott in full force following trans surfer controversy

Australian surf brand Rip Curl has suffered a major blow, with calls to boycott the iconic brand getting louder by the day. 

This has been a long time coming, late last year Rip Curl dropped their popular brand ambassador Bethany Hamilton who was one year into her five year contract. 

This is such a big deal because Bethany Hamilton is the embodiment of resilience and strength because she has managed to be a world class surfer even after suffering a horrific shark attack when she was 13 which cost her arm.
